Artemio Rodriguez: Giants
Artemio Rodriguez’s printing studio La Mano Press is a professional artist’s press and showroom where Rodriguez displays his prints and books. Rodriguez described his passion for printmaking and gave an overview of the linocut technique, the type of printmaking participants would be doing in his workshop. Exploring the idea of “giants,” participants wielded their tools to carve out interpretations of the theme; results are whimsical, menacing, and fantastic.
