Alex Donis: Mandala
Artist Alex Donis’s workshop presented the visual richness
of the Mandala, a circular pictorial design of the world and of
a person, often used in meditation. After a discussion about
the balance
of symbolic content and composition, Donis inspired participants
to create self-portrait representations in the Mandala form with
pen, pencil, marker, transfer marker, acrylic inks, and collage
on a 12-inch diameter circle of paper. Click here for exhibition
